At approximately 5,500 feet (1,675 meters) above sea level, the water arrives in Ziro Valley — its final resting place before collection. Here, it settles in a double-layered natural aquifer, shielded by stone and forest. We collect it directly from the earth, using a gravity-fed system (often bamboo-based, and guided by natural slope) inspired by ancestral methods — with zero pumping, zero disruption, and full reverence.
